Meet The Apex Health Team

Dr. Richard Sipes has worked in Addiction Medicine since 2005, primarily in treatment of opioid dependence. He has worked with a wide range of addiction treatment centers including serving as the Addiction Medical Director for inpatient rehabilitation facility, Addiction Specialist for Intensive Outpatient Program centers, and Medical Advisor for outpatient addiction counseling services. He is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine and Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow in the American Society of Addiction Medicine. In 2018, Dr. Sipes founded Apex Health clinic to provide an opportunity for other providers to join him in treating patients with Medication Assisted Therapy for Opioid Dependence.

Dr. Harlan Weiss joined Apex Health in 2018. Dr. Weiss is board certified in Internal Medicine and has had an interest in Addiction Medicine for several years. He enjoys taking time to work with patients on their recovery goals.
