Dr. Richard Sipes
Dr. Richard Sipes has worked in Addiction Medicine since 2005, primarily in treatment of opioid dependence. He has worked with a wide range of addiction treatment centers including serving as the Addiction Medical Director for inpatient rehabilitation facility, Addiction Specialist for Intensive Outpatient Program centers, and Medical Advisor for outpatient addiction counseling services. He is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine and Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow in the American Society of Addiction Medicine. In 2018, Dr. Sipes founded Apex Health clinic to provide an opportunity for other providers to join him in treating patients with Medication Assisted Therapy for Opioid Dependence.

Rachel Touchstone, PA-C
Rachel joined Apex Health in 2022. She has been a board-certified Physician Assistant since 2008. Before attending PA school at LSU- Health Sciences Center, she earned her degree in biological sciences from LSU in 2004.
Zach Fussell, PMHNP-BC
Zach joined Apex Health in 2022. He has six years of experience in psychiatry, including working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for the past 3 years. His background includes working in inpatient chemical dependency and detoxification, where he treated clients undergoing acute withdrawals from alcohol and drug dependency. Deeply passionate about mental health, Zach currently practices in various settings, including long-term care, outpatient/inpatient psychiatry, and behavioral health.
